Objectives

6. The objectives of determining Ethical Values for Civil Service Personnel are as follows:
(a) to create the civil service workforce that is continuously innovative in the interest of providing more effective and better services to the public;
(b) to increase competencies, transparency, responsibility, accountability, and trustworthiness which are expected by the public from the civil service personnel;
(c) to create the good work place that builds smooth vertical and horizontal relationship, and mutualtrust for providing the effective and responsive services to the public;
(d) to strengthen the commitments of the civil service by providing unbiased and fair service to the public without discrimination;
(e) to enhance the stature of the civil service sector by ensuring that civil service personnel perform their duties and responsibilities such as dealing with the public, engaging with the institutions and making decisions, with accountability, intelligence, honesty, loyalty trustworthiness, integrity, and without corruption;
(f) to ensure conservation of natural and physical resources;
(g) to establish a stronger democracy community  that promotes equality and inclusivity, by ensuring that civil service personnel adhere to Ethical Values.
